Drupal SPAM module works

The drupal module to catch comment spam caught a posting this morning. Very cool.

I'll be more impressed when I start getting a lot more comments as well as spam comments.

Just to increase my fun playing with it, I also entered the IP address into the Troll module with a one month ban. It came from a DSL line in Germany, so I am thinking about sending an abuse report to them to see if they pull that user's account.

Spam Module Rocks but...

Spam module is great, but i cant seem to get it to work properly with friendelectric theme.

I cant get "report spam", " mark as spam" and "mark as not spam" texts to show...

Did you modify the theme somehow to get them working.

In addition to the Captcha

In addition to the Captcha module, I’m also running the Akismet module (was running the Spam module until recently). Never see “spam,” unless it very well disguised, e.g., your comment got through and I’m not entirely sure it’s not spam. ;-)

I've never seen "report

I've never seen "report spam" but I have no problem with the "mark as ..." showing up.

To tell you the truth, I'm not as thrilled with it as I used to be, at least as far as comment spam goes. I've made far more progress on comment spam with a couple of patches that I made to the comment module that seems to be fairly effective against spambots. I should document those as well.
